We've been talking about community a lot (like HERE and HERE) and the reason why is that it's just so crazy important. This entrepreneur thing can be hard, and as a blogger having a group of amazing women that fully understand your struggle is essential to success. Having babes to chat with, bounce ideas off of, encourage you in your goals, and collaborate with is seriously a game changer.
We teamed up with some of our amazing members for a Galentine's Day Collaboration and it was so much fun! We took tons of photos, ate chocolate cake with a champagne toast before dinner, and chatted about everything from blogging to girl talk. Here's a peak into our amazing evening and the incredible local brands that made it possible.
Our Galentine's Staycation
Renaissance Denver was kind enough to provide us with a suite and a welcome tray of cheese and charcuterie. We kicked off our evening with a champagne toast and some boomerangs for our IG stories.
After some sips and snacks like chocolate covered strawberries, we did some jumping on the bed - because it's a slumber party essential. Our shirts were gifted to us by another one of our amazing members, Valery, who owns her own line of sassy and confidently feminist apparel called Fiercely. These adorable tees are from her Valentine's day collection. We're obsessed with the empowering messages of self-love, but more than that they're also ethically made and oh-so-soft.
Chocolate cake & jumping on the bed...slumber party essentials
After our bed jumping workout (yes, a few of us were out of breath 😂) we dug into the delicious Tres Chocolate Celebration cake which was a gift from from Beehold Cakes. Oh my goodness is it amazing. Impressively chocolatey with rainbow sprinkles? Yes please. The adorable flower arrangements you see around the room are courtesy of Flower Bombers.
In addition to gorgeous full-sized bouquets, they also offer mini flower bombs (aka f-bombs, hehe) that are perfectly sized for gifting to all your many galentines. They partnered with another local maker, Kiwi from Craft Boner on their Galentine's arrangement that comes with a flower bomb and a candle that smells exactly like putting on sweatpants.
After our cake, we were treated to dinner at Range which was beyond delicious. Some table favorites included the Gin & Berries cocktail as well as the hush puppies and the crispy goat cheese fritters. The main topics of conversation were instagram, relationships, and sharing stories of how we met our guys. Overall it was an amazing evening and we couldn't ask for a better group of girls to spend it with.
