WHY IS WISH BOUTIQUE HOSTING THIS EVENT?  
Wish Boutique is fairly new to the Influencer Marketing scene, but is planning to ramp up their use of bloggers for paid marketing campaigns. In order to get this started, they’ve planned a fall social for us so that they can meet & network with Denver bloggers with the intention of collaborating on future paid campaigns. They’d like to use this event to introduce you to their brand and let you get to know them a little better while also exploring the possibility of future paid collaborations with you.


WHAT DOES THE EVENT INCLUDE?
Wish Boutique has graciously offered to provide Sweets, snacks and fall cocktails as well as a photo booth and giveaways. They have also created an exclusive discount code should you “fall” in love with a piece in their shop or if you want to share with your followers. Code WISHBLOGGER2017 gets you 20% off one full-priced item.

WHY SHOULD I ATTEND? 
First, it’s a great opportunity to get to know Wish Boutique and explore the possibility of a paid collaboration with them in the future. Think of it as the most fun interview you’ve ever had…that is actually just a party ☺
Also, it’s the perfect way to make some local blogger babe friends while sipping on cocktails and taking full advantage of the photo booth.

WHO CAME UP WITH THE IDEA FOR THIS EVENT?
My Haute Society and here’s why: 
One of the most valuable things we have as bloggers in terms of monetizing our brand (especially when we’re just starting out) is being able to develop long-term relationships with local brands who are ready and willing to compensate us for our work. 

The goal of this event for us (as bloggers) is to be able to come together in a really fun way to cultivate these relationships and teach local brands about all the value we have to offer as bloggers. Our styles and aesthetics are all so different, so my goal is that by hosting these types of events we can effectively come together to teach brands how to work with us and also secure paid collaborations!

AM I REQUIRED TO POST ON MY BLOG OR SOCIAL? 
No. You don’t have to share your experience on social or your blog, but it’s a good idea to and here’s why:
1. Wish boutique has invested time & money into hosting us, so giving back through a little social buzz is a kind gesture…not to mention it shows them you are genuinely interested in their brand and gives them a little taste of the type of amazing content you can create for them via a paid campaign.
2. Wish has hired a photographer as part of this event for a photo booth & to capture candid moments. These professional photos will be made available to you for free should you like to write a quick post or share on social.

WHAT TYPE OF BLOGGERS IS WISH LOOKING TO WORK WITH?
Short answer: I don’t know. 
Long answer: They are fully in charge of anything that happens after the event collaboration wise. I am just here to facilitate the relationship & plan a party. That being said, make sure to connect with one of the gals from Wish at the event to let her know you’re interested and explore why your blog is a great fit.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
No need to bring anything specific, just yourself. 
If you want to go above and beyond, feel free to bring some business cards so you can connect with the ladies at Wish and help them remember you and your business for future campaigns.
If you do plan to write a blog post for this event, feel free to bring your camera or selfie stick (yep…I own 3)
